The previous owner of my 76 911S left a portion of the wiring harness laying in the engine bay, it has 2 brown wires and 1 yellow and black wire contained in a black plastic sheathing. It appears as though at one time the ends were lengthened with 2 white wires and electrical connectors. I think the two brown wires were tied together for the 1 white wire and the black and yellow wire had the other white extension on it. The trouble is, I have no idea where they go. Can anyone help me out here?
Thanks, Chris |

Brown wires are ground, which leaves you with two wires to identify. If you can describe the location of the harness stub [where this branch originates, or where it emerges into the engine bay, and where it travels from there], then someone with an early car might be able to help. All my doc is 84 and later.

I should have known a little more clarification would be needed. The car has a 77 2.7 engine with cis. The wiring harness originates from behind the fan where the large wiring harness does. I had to split it open to see what color the original wires were. Could this be to the blower motor?
I'll keep hunting, Chris |

Hello
A fast guess is the fresh air blower. Black / Yellow ( switched ignition ) and brown ( ground ) Grüsse |
