Suspension newb here, What is spring plate Droop ??
Very soon I will be replacing spring plate bushings and installing larger torsion bars. I have Wil Ferch's 911 Spring Plate Angle Calculator. For rear 29mm bars, 2650# weight and euro height, the angle is 22-23 degrees with 6.93" Droop. I understand the idea of the initial installation angle being 22-23 degrees hanging freely, but what does 6.93" Droop mean and how do you measure it.

I've successfully used Wil's calculator several times. Not sure what the 6.93" refers to, but using the angle has always been enough to nail it first try. Good luck!
