'73 Owner's Manual vs. Driver's Manual

I've seen both Owner's and Driver's Manuals for '73 911's. I have the Driver's Manual, but do not have an Owner's Manual. What is the difference between them? Also what is correct for a '73 CIS?

Interesting, they are the same thing but the grey one is non US and the Orange is for the US market. So I guess we are not considered "Drivers"

Are there some differences inside? Seems strange that only the cover would change.

On a separate note, how does one tell an original from a Repro?

Were they printed at the same time?

I've always been told that the grey book is a reprint and the orange is original. I actually have both and will check the printing dates tomorrow.

Ed, thanks, that was very helpful. My first page appears identical to the second (olive) one you posted in that thread (mine is below). Is the olive cover of yours the same as the color in post #2 in this thread? The manual I have was represented to me as a repro, and probably is, given its perfect condition, though I'm unsure how to tell.

Yes, the same color. The Orange is original and the Olive Green is a reprint.

The big difference is the cost! Original Owners Manual on Ebay can be expensive. The drivers manual ordered from the dealer the last I checked was $58.00 but that was years ago.

They are the same thing Grey is europe and other markets orange is USA/Canada. I have both, there are variations in the text due to the different equipment i.e. Headlight adjustment due to different headlights, seat belt warning system etc. The US manual has a different order number. I bought the grey one at the factory. The orange one came with my car.
