SC ALARM AGAIN-stalling problem
Ok this should be my last post on the mystery stalling sc, after searching for over a year i think with the help of this boards post i have found the problem, driving down the road it would just stall for no reason, the odd thing was the lights on the dash would not come on after stalling, turn key off turn key on viola lights, the local bosch mechanic wanted to replace 1000 dollars in parts in the fuel injection, these were parts i replaced with him a little over a year ago when this crap started, i just couldnt believe i needed to replace them again anyway, i finaly dug out the alarm module under the plenum, pain in the ass, as soon as i touched it it beeped and winned etc, i finaly got it disconnected went and turn the key on guess what, no alt light, at first it confused me because the oil light came on then i realized that the car was in gear when it stalls and was still pumpimg oil so the light would not come on, this would also be the reason i thought it was the fuel pump, the alarm would shut it off, i forgot to mention that the dang alarm would beep two or three times every once in a while for no reason, im gonna drive it to work tomorrow if it doesnt stall its fixed, if it does anyone interested in a 911 wide body thats had the $hit beat out of it with a sledge (just kidding but i truely feel like it, my wife has been asking to drive it forever she thinks im lying about the stalling) if this doesnt work im direct wiring the fuel pump and coil when i turn on the key, the rest of the stuff can kiss my, you guys rule in the help department, this is the only p-car board to be on, Thanks Guys, Kevin
