     That's it for me.....didn't go on the drive, cops, black ice, coffee and donut fueled Porsche drivers.....nah.....  Hope they are safe and ticket free.....Happy New Year.

Thanks for posting the pics. It was a very fun 3 hr tour of the SoCal back roads and a great way to break in the new year. No black ice seen but a LOT of Caltrans gravel and sand. It was wise to leave plenty of room between you and the next car ahead. Most everyone behaved themselves out there AFAK.

We did the run in our 993 cab with the top down. Chilly, but the heater did wonders with the windows up. Was a good run - no ice, no mechanicals, no police incidents, no accidents (at least that I know of). There were some areas with debris on the roads. More snow on the east facing hillsides out near Palmdale than closer to La Canada. Glad we made the run to blow out the cobwebs.
