What would you value this 87 911 at?

Marina Blue 87 911 with 100k miles, and linen interior. One owner, most maintenance records, and this is the PPI results. Dealer is asking $24.5k. Does the leak-down test look bad, or is that something that would improve with daily driving?

EXTERIOR & INTERIOR
NO SIGNS OF ANY MAJOR ACCIDENT OR BODY REPAIRS THE CARS PAINT DOES SHOW ITS AGE IT HAS SOME SCRATCHES AND ROCK CHIPS DOESNT LOOK LIKE IT HAS BEEN REPAINTED. CARPET IS LIKE NEW SEATS HAVE SOME WEAR BUT ARE IN GOOD CONDITION ALL ELECTRRONICS WORK PROPERLY. DASH BOARD IS IN GREAT CONDITION OVERALL THE INTERIOR IS IN GREAT CONDITION
ENGINE

$24.5k is a lot for that car. From the description it sounds bad. 15% to 20% leak down is not good. you could dump $20k in this car pretty quickly. IMO

sounds like a dog to me. There will be much better cars come along for that kind of money and even for less money.

Also - Marketplace discussion. You just bumped a great technical thread off the bottom of the first page with this.

If you're gonna do the work yourself, plan on several hundred dollars to repair the brake light sensors and swap the brake fluid (had to do that when I bought mine too), $800 or so for new struts (set of Bilstein Sport struts from our host) , another few hundred for tie rods and some bushings, and then again for an alignment.

So you're gonna be about $2k into it before you get to working on the engine. The tune-up materials will cost several hundred, and it sounds like it will yield a few more todos when you get in there. If all that were in good shape, I imagine the price would be justified in the high teens, since it sounds like the interior/dash/electronics are all in good shape. The door lock sounds like it could be trouble too. Until stuff is fixed, I'd figure on a price in the low teens. I paid $12.5 for mine with a salvage title, and that one would scare me more.
