leak down number before rings bedded in
Hi
Do leak down numbers mean very much BEFORE the rings are bedded in? That is to say whether I should do a leak down test right after the engine is assembled and on the bench?

Never rebuilt a flay 6 but have done other motors and it would be kind of useless to do that before break in and surface mating takes place.
