Targa bar satin finish

I have searched and read many posts/threads about refinishing targa bars but none that I have found refer to restoring the satin stainless finish. My targa bar was somewhat polished by the PO. I don't want to paint it so my choices are either somehow get the satin back or complete the polishing.

Any hints on restoring the satin look?

Brushed stainless, wire wheel on a drill perhaps? Google it?
