I can't tell what your picture is, far too small.

Got it!

He is running!!!!!! Lucky for me the EPA wasn't around. Lots of smoke. Timed it and idles nicely around 800 but still lots of smoke. No more vomit. Smoke is white when it comes out of tail pipe then turn darker as it floats away.
After 15 minute of idle I turn it off and let it rest for 10 minutes then fire it back up. It turns right over now. When I turn it off lots of pinging in the muffler area. Less with each start. I revved it tipi 2500 rpms for about a minute and lots more smoke.

Gauges- fuel gauge works.
OEL - resting at 0 even after car warmed up (temp gauge working)
Temperature gauge works
Druck pressure gauge works
No warning lights

The oel being at zero made me nervous, but I know it has oil because I drained the old stuff out and put 8 back in. I read that you should add the oil after and manually measure. After I get it on the road for a 100 miles? Then I will recharge again.

I am going to drain the tranny and refill as well.

Moving car up and down drive way feels like e brake is on or brakes are still dragging but they work.

I will study up tonight and make sure I do everything I can to avoid miss steps

The oil level gauge is the one that bugs me. I will research on how to test, repair or replace. Any suggestions and criticism is also welcome.

Thanks again,

Gary

Sounds like you are making good progress. :)
Never worry about the oil level gauge.

The proper oil level is measured when the car is fully warmed up, it is taken with the engine running and parked on a flat level surface.

Under the above conditions your oil level should be 1/2 way between the min and max marks on the dipstick.

If you are lucky the gauge will show the same. If not, who cares? Mine shows low while driving and only shows 1/2 (same as dipstick) when I come to a stop for more than 30 seconds.

You should drive it to warm it up, or at least don't let it idle until warm, rev it to get it there. These cars like/need to rev!

I'll bet you are about 3 liters low on oil. (not a real problem but you should get the oil to the correct level) Add it when car is warm and running one liter at a time, allowing it to circulate a little before taking the level again .
Don't over fill the engine, your current smoking situation will seem minor! :)
