bought 79sc what to do with 73 targa?
I was having fun rebuilding a 73 targa when a driving 79sc fell in my lap. Bought it. I really don't have the desire or room for two. Should i part out 73 or finish and then sell. Sell running engine and then just sell roller? Opinions aren't scarce around here- what's yours?

Where are you located?
Working the cars is my way of relaxing, so my vote would be to finish it. All long nose should be saved if possible.

SCs are obviously superior to all other models!
On a more related note, I would suggest looking for someone who wants an underway project car. If the engine is original to the body, they will be worth more together anyway. Of course, if you have lots of time and enjoy the restoration, by all means continue. Personally, I would drive and maintain the SC, and sell the 73 to fund that effort.

My opinion... Just give me the '73.
I'll restore it. I'll even let you drive it when I'm done... ![]() (You did ask for opinions) Sell it as a project and let someone save another one.

Finally a grain of truth emerges from this forum. However, keep the 73 or at least don't give it away cheap as that car is money even if it's a CIS T.

++1. Don't give it away. I think the CIS T is the most reliably driveable long hood car out there. It's on my list of somedays... -- Matt

Finish the 73 then sell it. Drive the SC and fix it up later. It can wait.
