Tach not working on a 911 I'm considering

Hi again guys.

The tach of a 3.2 Carrera I'm considering sometimes doesn't work, according to the seller. What do you think can be the cause of this intermittent trouble ? I'm pretty sure it's no
big deal but I just want to be well informed.

Sounds as easy as a "connection/ground issue,..no way of knowing, for sure, without inspection.

Is it just on registering lower RPMs ? Or does it sometimes just drop downward?

I don't know. I will on next Sunday when I'll go check the car. Can't wait...
