Steve Wong Chip
My 3.2 current setup is totally stock. I'm going to get a SW chip soon, but I'm debating which one to get. I would like to get one for a premuff with plans to install the premuff at a later date or maybe not at all. My question is will this setup (chip for premuff without premuff installed) have an equal, better or less performance vs. a SW chip for a stock configuration? I like to have the option of being able to add the premuff at a later date without having to buy a new chip, but would like to know how the performance will match up with a SW chip for a stock configuration?

Call Steve and ask, I did recently and he was very open to answering all of my questions over the phone. Personally I'd recommend you go with a premuffler too, that's what I did, with a 93oct chip. Very satisfied with the performance of both combined. I ran into a few idle issues after installing the chip and Steve has been great in helping me diagnose that as well.

Chip swap
I think he allows for one swap out to the original customer. Just the price of shipping.
