996 3.4L Exhaust Upgrade

Hello All,

I am doing some upgrades to my '99 996, one of the first is the exhaust, trying to decide between APR Performance:
APR Porsche® 996 Carrera C2 3.4 Performance Exhaust System
And Fab Speed:

I would do the ECU upgrade at the same time from the same vendor; I am not set on either one if there is a better option for a street car.

Have to drop the engine, this winter to correct the infamous '99 996 oil leak. Any other mild tweaks to consider for a 60,000 mile 3.4L?

Have you looked in to the whole IMS thing? Also - try the 996 forum here and on Rennlist - these guys dont swim in the water much :-)

Thanks for info; yes I need to move this to the 996 forum, saw that after I posted. The IMS bearing is why I am dropping the engine, have slight oil leak now and want the fix this before it is a major issue.
