PorschePlace (Venice, Calif)-SUCKS

Do Not buy anything from this new Porsche dismantling parts co.(PorschePlace
310.396-6630) They're new, and post on PPClassified.
They (1) Falsely advertise--on the PPClassified(dated 8/14/01), is listed
Fuchs 16x7,9 with tires for $1100. I live nearby, so went there personally,
and was told that was a "mistake". Price is higher, of course.
(2)They Lie--So then i negotiated for a different pr of Fuchs 9's, wheels
only. We decided on a price, and was told 2 days later, that now the price
is higher.
So i got screwd TWICE by them !!!
Luckily i didn't give them any of my money. I wouldn't do business with
them if they were the last Porsche parts supply house on earth-and we know
there are plenty.
Save yourself anguish, money, frustration--don't do business with them.

The only one i'll accept a wedgie from is Pamela Anderson, so you KNOW that i'm telling the truth. And NO, i'm not a competitor.

Mrdi: the price of the 9's are.......well, i don't know, cuz the price kept changing. He's got 2 sets: one set of 7's/9's Chromed with black paint between spokes, in 'fair' shape, with some pitting. Another set of 7/9's with polished lips and black face, also in 'fair-good' shape.
All i can say about the price is that he wouldn't sell me the set advertised in PPClassified for the amount in ad $1100. (ad stated polished lips/spokes,but this is the chrome set). The price for the polish/blk 9's kept going up/down. Don't know where he ended up--i already left.

Just be glad you weren't taken for any cash.
I've had a couple real bad hits of the Porsche variety. Leaves a bad taste in your mouth for sure. I read every one of the "caveate emptor" posts and scratch the offender off my supplier list. There are plenty of vendors out there, no need to gamble the P-buck any more than necessary.
