After market oil cooler vs original
I need to replace the engine mounted oil cooler in my 73 911 E. It cracked along a weld in the cold weather / high oil pressure.
The new ones are close to $2k. The aftermarket are $425. Any down side to the aftermarket coolers? Any bad experiences out there? I believe the coolers from 73 -89 are the same (part number 911.107.041.00) Or, should I look for a used one? Thanks Chris 73 911 E |

Depending on where you live, you could have a radiator shop repair it and test it at Xpounds.

I did the local radiator shop thing with a leaking gas once and ended up replacing it 6 months later.

Pacific Oil Cooler, top notch, FAA certified, doesn't get any better, if they can't fix it no one can.
