Master cylinder
I think my master cylinder is probably shot but I'm not sure.
If I go ahead and change it will I get about halfway through and really wish I had never started? The brake system is completely dry right now so I won't be getting brake fluid all over the place. I'm rebuilding the calipers and replacing the flex lines currently so It would be nice to get the last piece of 37 year old rubber out of the most important system in the car. Thanks! |

I had same concern over Xmas holidays when I did mine. Really not bad once you figure out best way to get the flare wrench oriented in there. Mine had a bolt that holds the whole assembly attached to a support rod that runs down into the pedal area. That one tripped me up a bit.

Thanks guys
I've got the pedal cluster out now for a rebuild so this should be pretty easy. |
