Snap.....clutch pedal on floorboard

Sitting at a redlight today in my '82SC. When the light turned green I started to push the clutch pedal down to put it in 1st and snap...the clutch pedal just sank all the way down. Fortunately I was only a couple of blocks from home and managed to get her back into my garage. I pulled the carpet and wooden floorboard out to expose the pedal cluster expecting to find a broken clutch cable. What I found was the hole in the "clutch lever arm" had worn out and allowed the clevis on the clutch cable to pull away.
Obviously, the bushing had worn away long ago and continued use caused the clevis pin to wear away at the hole until the metal around the hole finally gave way. I will need a new clutch lever shaft. I have searched Pelicans but cannot find this piece. Does anyone know where I can order one? I will try to attach a photo of the arm/shaft. #34 on the picture. TIA

Jamie:

See page 5 of the link noted by Robert.

While you are in there, replace the bushings (13 bucks from our host) since everything will be apart. Do not throw away the plastic spacer that is closest to the end of the shaft where the cable attaches, as it is not encluded in the kit (don't ask me how I know this).

Good luck.

Or,

Try Al at Partsheaven, Hayward CA.

He will sell you one, or the whole assembly. While you are at it, you might want to rebuild the whole assembly with new bushings.

Do expect to be reminded of all your favorite curse words. Getting that last return spring on there is going to be a absolute #$%&

Thanks guys. I had searched that page for 30 minutes with no luck. But it was on page 5. It's called a pedal shaft. I was looking for something with the word clutch in it. Oh well, my wife always says I look for things so fast that I always miss what I'm looking for. I'll be ordering tomorrow. Thanks again.
