BFG g-Force Sport COMP-2 on 16 X 7 & 9's ?

I am still finishing my re-polish on my Euromeister 16 X 7 and 9s.

I know the Bridgestone RE-11's are 245/45/16 and 205/55/16. But now I found BFG in Almost the same sizes: 245/50/16 and 215/55/16

So, for use on my 7 & 9's will these be too tall? Or I won't even notice?

I guess my first question is why try to fit incorrect sizes when the correct sizing is available? Yes they'll be taller front and back. A lot? No. But still too tall. Yea, I know that 16's are getting harder and harder to find, but I'd make a few calls to knowledgable people like the folks at TireRack (ask for Luke) and see what they have to offer

That aside, my own personal experience with that BFG tire was horrible. Needed an inexpensive set to throw on my 528i BMW just for summer use. Local tire store GM who's a friend and fellow racer tried to talk me out of them because of the problems they've had with them. Said they flat spot horribly when sitting, and can take miles to smooth out. Some just get worse and worse. In my case one out of 4 could never be properly balanced and had to be replaced. After 500 miles another one was bad. Ended up taking them all off and replacing with Toyo's that were perfect.

My car with RE-11s, 7s with 225/50-16 up front and 9s with 245/45-16s in the rear...rolled fronts from the PO, no rubbing at all

I wouldn't use that size, the gearing hit is large. If the base wheel is 225/50 x16 then a 245/50 x16 at 25.7" is .8" taller

I'd want a set that includes 245/45 x16 which is a .1 or .2 shorter than the base

I don't know...never had it checked; to my eye, it looks pretty much straight up and down. The inside lip at the top of the fender rim was folded in flat by the PO. The car will be going in soon for some work, I'll have my guy check the settings front and rear.
BTW, the front wheel in the photo is not straight; it's turned a bit towards the passenger side.
