Question Pedal height

My brake pedal is about 1 in. higher (or nearer to the driver) than my clutch and my accelerator.

Is this normal? Can I fix it easily?

(Now entering my 2nd month of 911 ownership, expect more newbie questions )

Your clutch pedal should be about even with the brake pedal. Sometimes when the clutch is not adjusted correctly the pedal will not come up as high as it should. If you can easily pull the clutch pedal up another inch or so with your toe the clutch is probably just not adjusted correctly.
Do not take the advice of well meaning individuals that will tell you how to lower your brake pedal.

Hi,

There are a few things that you might want to check, the brake pedal in my car is slightly higher than my clutch, but I have disconnected the return spring in the pedal cluster (or rather it was disconnected, I put it on (by hand I might add with no help...) and found that it pressed against the pedal metal so I pulled it off). When I had it on, the pedal sat pretty much flush with the brake pedal.

Simply unscrew the floor board that holds the boards over the pedal cluster, pull it off and have a look, the spring should be at the base of the clutch pedal.
