Door lock locked...

HI guys.

My new 911, that I should take home in a few weeks, has something I'll have to fix. Myself, if possible.

The door doesn't lock anymore from the inside, and from the outside either. The whole mechanism seems locks : the key goes in but nothing turns and the ''roller'' on the door panel doesn't turn.

Any idea what the problem is ?? Please note that the car doesn't have the power lock option.

Nicolas

should be easy to figure out when you have the doorpanel off, likely the screw that holds the actuator to the lock cylinder is loose or has fallen off

see post #2 above. Take the door panel off, and make sure that the door lock handle cam is attached and hasn't fallen off. The door lock lever needs to be moved by the lock cam.

Garage
Mine was sticking and wouldn't unlock with the key from the outside.
I tried lightly squeezing the trigger while turning the key and it worked.
I've since then lubricated everything and it works fine now.
