Please could you show your original 1984 Carrera radio, more is the radio in the 1984 turbo the same?

I don't know about '84.
My guess is a Blaupunkt Monterey SQR 23

I have listings for the '83 SC and turbo

Blaupunkt Colonge SQR22 for Germany ( M 327)
Blaupunkt Atlanta SQR 22 for ROW (M 330)
Blaupunkt Monterey SQR 22 for USA (M 158)

'85 turbo -look had a Monterrey too...so '84 stands to reason it had the same

Based on the listing a Carrera 84 either has the Atlanta SQR22 or Koln SQR22 which looks like a Monterey as well.

Window sticker for my '84 listed the Monterey by name. There may have been other choices as well, but from what I've seen the Monterey was the most common.

Looking for an original Blau for my '84 and found this thread. My option list includes M158, Blaupunkt Monterey/Reno. I read recently (and now can't find where I read it) that the Monterey has the provision for the electric antenna and the Reno is for the manual antenna. Is that correct?

Sounds possible, my car came with the Monterey and it does have the electric antenna in the right fender.
