911 or 944 roll bar?
Hello chaps - cleaning out the clutter downstairs and stumbled across this piece. Not sure if it's 911 or 944. No markings, only a 89 on one of the bases.
Any guesses on manufacture and application?

I will guess 944 because it looks like there is some space behind the bar that would run behind the seats and there is definately no space in a 914. Just my guess.

Most 944 roll bars extend much farther to the rear, but I have seen some that terminate on the rear wheel wells, which would look similar to yours.
Bottom line? I don't have a clue...... |

After a longer look, my guess is 911. I don't think those short rear bars would even make it to a 944's wheel wells.
