Throttle body stack options?

I'm starting to gather parts for a conversion from Webers to EFI using the old (original) MFI throttle bodies. My bodies look like the ones in the picture (except mine aren't clean)
They are two parts, the aluminum part that actually contains the butterflies, and an upper plastic part that brings everything together into one big honkin' air cleaner. I'm wondering what my options are for using something more elegant in place of the plastic parts. BTW, it looks like the plastic part also plays a role in the linkage. Are there alternatives to the plastic part without replacing the whole shebang?

:)

You don't say what motor you are fitting this to, but unless its a 2.2 or 2.4 your throttles are too small to feed enough air to the motor.

Better to keep the Webers, and a lot less costly.

Just my .02 cents.

Didn't someone here do this with Triumph motorcycle stacks?

Great point about the air; something I hadn't thought of. My engine was originally a 2.4, rebuilt to 2.7 by the previous owner, but still has T cams.
