Help on part # pistons EURO CR on 3.2 Carrera engine

Hi all,

On the Porsche parts list, it is not stated which pistons are EURO version, 231bhp, USA version, 217 bhp, etc.

Can anyone help on this?

I am about to buy a set of used cylinders and pistons from a 3.2 and would need some guidance to spot the 10.3:1 CR version.

One of the sellers provided me the reference PGC 503 569 2
Is this a Mahle part number?
Is there a correspondence table to cross it with Porscheparts number?

Thanks

I don't think Porsche sells the pistons by themselves I think they are only offered with the matching cylinder.

The part numbers for the piston/cylinder combo are 930.103.989.01 (weight marked -- or -) and 930.103.989.02 (weight marked + or ++)

For reference the US numbers are:
- 930.103.990.01 (weight marked -- or -)
- 930.103.990.02 (weight marked + or ++)

Both the euro and the US 3.2 carry the 95P36 inside the piston.
If you research it you will find info here about the height difference of the euro piston compared to the US. The difference is minimal but there.
