915 gear ID (markings)

Can anyone help me decode the markings on this 915 gear? I'm tearing into a box and trying to figure out what set I've got. Also, is there a date code on the individual gears?

Thanks!

Tm

Search for charts on this forum, or check Guard Transmission for the 915 chart. You can count the teeth also.

TM 5th gear - 29:22 (.756), common with 7:31 R&P on early mag case 915's.

Many thanks. I wasn't sure how to read the stamp. TM it is.

Does anyone know if 71 is a MFG date?

Yes, the numbers on either side of the trademark are the month and year of manufacture.

My website doesn't the letter names of gears but iirc the chart here in Pelican's tech files does. If not pm me with any questions.

Regards

Matt
