Brake Pulling - I think I found it.

After installing my track rubber, I was running some errands. While driving thru a parking lot, I noticed a 'clunk' in the steering. I went home and started pulling stuff apart. Turns out that the piece that keeps the seals in on the left side of the rack failed, so the seal and everything fell out. I think I felt it more with the bigger tires due to the increased turning resistance.

I think it's still safe to drive it (carefully) on the track this way (I have a DE @ Thunderhill tomorrow), as the steering is still intact, it's just that the suspension changes geometry slightly. Opinions welcome.

I bought the rack 6/21/2001, and I think there's a warranty - gotta follow that up with Wayne.
