LOOCKING FROM UNDER THE CAR, HOW CAN I IDENTIFY IF I HAVE A 2.4 OR 2.7 LITER CYLINDER - PISTON ASSEMBLY??

Original 2.4 'S' Biral cylinders have fins that aren't continuous -- there are 'gaps' around the circumfrence. The Nikasil 2.7 cylinders have continuous fins that have no gaps around the circumfrence.

Mahle also now makes Nikasil sets for 2.4s and earlier. However, it is most likely that you do have the stock ones in your car.
The cylinder spigots are a different diameter, but I don't think you can measure that from under the car... -Wayne
