911 SC Glovebox Removal

I need to remove the glovebox door from my 1980 SC for some repair....can someone tell me how to remove it?

Open the door there are two Phillips head screws which secure it to the dash. Remove then and hey presto. If you want the glovebox itself out undo middle screw it is threaded into a retaining strap which goes under the box. Wiggle to free from under dash.

I believe the passenger knee pad needs to be removed to see the screws for glovebox

Helmethead your right but that's easy enough just locate the two 8mm nuts holding it on and take them off.

The SC we just completed had 4 screws holding the glovebox door to the dash frame...two come up from underneath and the nuts are a BUGGER to get...if you lay down under the dash you can see them looking up...then two screws are visible from the front once the kneepad is removed..
