The Best Way To Align Bodywork Panels
I'm interest to hear of peoples experiences of the best order in which to set up all the body panels on a bare shell and what type of fit issues had to be resolved.
Also over the years from the beginning of the LWB sheel to the end of the 964 shell was the accuracy of the shell improved to make everything fit more consistently? I would like to have made some high quality autoclave cured carbon fibre panels but want to design in some fit adjustment in the necessary places. The aim is to achieve the same panel flushness and shut gaps as the cars orignally had when they rolled of the production line without needing hours and hours of extra fitting time.

One of the absolute best people you could talk with regarding this would be Freddie Hernandez. He hangs out in the paint/body section mostly. Quite a craftsman and an all-around nice guy. Top of that forum has a sticky with some of his work.
