Whats Fair price for 91 3.6 engine
What is fair price for a 3.6 from a 1991 964. It is complete, DME everything to exhaust.
Sitting 2 years, 30,000 miles on engine. Also what are things to "look out" for on these engines?

hole in piston, 1k, good compression, clean, 6k I hear the valve guides and dual dissy belt. but thats in high milage engines. in other words, this is a totally unknown until you can verify everything, like a PPI, get a compression check and send a oil sample off for analysis. unless you will be rebuilding it.

I believe the 91 has the midyear cutoff on the head gasket upgrade....was it done? Get the serial number.......
The serial numbers for the engine change over is: 62 M 06836, M64.01 for manual transmission 62 M 52757, M64.02 for Tiptronic transmissions
