Thumbs up Must have 02 connector kit

I recently had some serious running issues with my 85 Carrera. Long story short, I tracked the problem to a bad 02 sensor connector. I bought a kit from a fellow Pelican (Louie85) and I must say the part was of exceptional quality. I figured that I would have to purchase some wire connectors and such, but to my surprise the kit included everything needed for the install. All I had to do was grab a few tools and 15 minutes later my 3.2 was purring. I strongly recommend that anyone with an early 3.2 replace their existing stock 02 connector with this quality and reasonably priced product. Below are some pictures of the kit, old connector and finished product.

This part is only through Louie. It is a custom part he mills himself. As far as the running issue, I had bucking and hesitation up to 3000 rpm, at which point it ran like a banshee, until it got to 180 degrees. It would idle on 4 cylinders until it warmed up. I went through plugs, wires, lubrication of the distributor advance springs, vacuum leak test and even cleaned all electrical connections. After reading dozens of posts I just so happened to pull on the 02 wire ads everything cleared up. If I pushed on the wire the chugging returned. As the picture shows the connector fell apart after years of use and probably due in part to the quality of German plastic.

I bought the kit from Louie and replaced by heat exchangers and now I need to rewire the O2 sensor. Any suggestions on rewiring the O2 sensor? I need a longer wire with the new SSI's and the existing wire will not work. I am getting the bucking at low RPM and did not connect it to the disconnected O2 sensor until I read this post.
