Got bored today...

What do you guys think? It's not perfect, but I figured it was a decent waste of a couple hours.

It's hard to see but they are grooved. I even radiused the oil holes and cut the keyway and circlip groove for the gear driving the intermediate shaft. I was going to add cross drilling, though it will take a good bit longer to do.

If you did this at work, are you salaried, paid by the hour or by the piece?

fasterlaster - I will definitely animate it once I learn how to do so.

Mike - This was done on a student version of Wildfire 5.0

Sergio - I'm a 2nd year engineering student, even if I were getting paid it wouldn't be very much as it took 3 hours to do the whole crank.

I would post the file somewhere, but I think files created in the student version won't be compatible with any other version.

Nice work! What did you use as a reference?

I used a picture of a 997 turbo crank as a reference and gathered some rough measurements around the web. I still need to find more data to make it more accurate.
