Hold down your control key (lower left on the keyboard) while also punching the "prtsc" button (upper middle right on the keyboard).

Not done yet. You now have a screen print embedded in your PC's memory, but you need to get it out.

So....open up a program called Paint. (All Microsoft PC's have it).

Once in Paint, look for the the menu item that looks like a clipboard that says "paste".

Click on paste and marvel at your screen shot. You can now highlight/annotate specific areas on the screen shot using the tools in the paint program across the top.

Once you are done mucking with it, go to the floppy disc icon and save the picture to your desktop (or wherever) on your PC. The picture of the Word Doc is now ready to be uploaded to the PP forums, just like any other picture.

Good luck!

you don't need to hold the control key for a screengrab

Also - While CTRL-PrtScrn or just plain PrtScrn will copy your entire screen to the clipboard. Alt-PrtScrn will copy only the active window.
