EFI conversio - TPS and the 3.2 Manifold
I am helping to install an EFI conversion to replace CIS on a 930. We are using the 3.2 manifold to help increase flow.
I know I have seen a TPS that is a direct fit for the WOT switch on the throttle body of the 3.2 manifold. I can not seem to find the part number or thread that had this information despite quite a bit of time in the archives. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or help.

I'm sure you're familiar with the DIY-EFI board, you can try there. Also I'd look for BMW information since the Motronic system is shared with many of the older BMW cars.
Hope this helps, Chuck.H '89 TurboLookTarga, 320k miles |

Yes, I am familiar with these forums. I seem to recall there was a Volvo part number that was a direct bolt on to the Carrera TB. Maybe I should look at doing the Ford V8 TB swap.
I agree that it will be a standard Bosch part.

Jamie,
I got this one from Geoffrey at Race Tech Engineering. CCW rotation, as I recall. PN M518-1 for CCW and M518-3 for CW rotation -- as seen from the shaft side of the TPS. I could not find a direct-bolt-on that was analog and not the three-position switch that was OEM on the 3.2. You will have to fabricate a mount to adapt it to the 3.2 throttle body. I made one from 3/8" phenolic as seen in the picture. JimS made one from aluminum as can be seen in his thread on EFI for a turbo. Call Jeff Gamroth @ Rothsport Racing. I think he has a switch and an adapter to make this work. His phone 503 885 9626 PDT.

Oops. Forgot I was in search mode when I hit reply. Am looking for a TPS option that works for an SC?
