RoW air box on 930/16 (US) engine

I have got what I think is an RoW air box on my '81 SC (US 930/16) engine. The outlet ports at the air box (45 mm OD) mismatch the intake runners (39 mm OD).
It has got the spider/diffusor which closer supplies the cold start mixture to the intake runners to prevent backfiring.

Are there any disadvantages from this configuration? Would it be better to switch back to the original air box?

Thank you, Manfred

Anyone care to answer? I need to decide whether I can go on with the air box I've got or if I better buy a new one.

Thanks, Manfred
