Appbiz Rear Seat Delete Fit ?
Looking at maybe fitting an Appbiz Rear Seat Delete Box to an 88 Coupe.
Appbiz tell me their box is a copy of the OEM Porsche version from 1970s. My pcar shop has concerns over fit in a 1988 Coupe. Anybody got one of these and can comment via personal experience ? Pics welcomed ...... Last edited by pc100porsche; 04-11-2013 at 02:35 PM.. Reason: Make clearer |

I have the appbiz full RS carpet kit in my 88 and it fits just fine. The install was straight forward and only took a day.

Hi AZ911,
I'm referring to the Rear Seat Delete Box -- ie the box with 2 gloveboxes at the front that replaces the rear seats |

PC100, do you have a link to the AppBiz product? I didn't see it on their site.

A home-made one using plywood would be heavy, but since you eliminate the seat backrests, wouldn't the whole thing be weight neutral?
Has someone done a weight comparison like this?
