Is this enough downforce for a FWD car?

Well, Civics ARE known for their high-speed oversteer characteristics - wider rear tires might also help. By the way, is that a roof-mounted air intake like a GT1?

I have come to the conclusion that on Japanese cars, the bigger the wing, the smaller the di-- inside the car! He would have to be putting out 500 HP just to get that thing up to highway speed!

Surely that's illegal when it's extended to that height! I'd love to see a ricer driving that car (with his 2-digit IQ score) wondering why he blacked out half of LA by hitting overhead powerlines with his wing.

Wings are the tailfins of the new millennium. Modern divining rods pointing out the hormonally challenged.

Funny thing is, if the owner was actually able to get that “thing” up to any speed and got the wing to produce significant down force the flimsy trunk that it is bolted to would just fold up.( Also note the Home Depo angle iron)

It is also sad to note that this textbook case of overcompensation comes from the fine state of Virginia and not the left coast. The auto oriented, mentally disabling infection, boltonulisum, has spread!

This reminds me of the time here in Dallas about 3 years ago there was a Chevelle with a WOODEN spoiler on the trunk. The guy had taken two 6" long sections of 2X4 and screwed a 3' long section of 2X10 on top. Truly amazing.

The Home Depot shelving standards add a nice touch. Light weight too.
