Door Check/Door strap

Hello all,

I have a 72 911 and the driver's side aluminum strap snapped off. I took the assembly off the door and it looks like its in good shape and intact. I know the replacement stay looks totally different. The bolt pattern on my stay is 1.5".

Can I buy just the strap and anyone know where?
anybody making replacement is Al or steel?
I would like to get 2 if possible and replace both sides while I am at it.
