The steering wheel is on the completely wrong side.

C'mon - "Right is right", right?

Seriously, any thoughts on the car would be appreciated...

No options sticker under the hood. Was it repainted or the sticker removed?

The only *real* expensive maintenance item is a rebuild. Avoid that with a leak down during the PPI. Car looks nice, but I've seen plenty of cars I would have bought just with the nice pictures they had, but ended up not because the PPI turned up a lot of things.

With less than 33,000 miles it has a lot of rust around the windshield cowling. I would dig deeper. Also the headliner as pointed out in another thread appears to be mildew/mold. If that is true that means this car has been exposed to moisture. The car looks good on the outside (a fresh paint job as someone else eluded to), but underneath is what worries me.......

Seriously, from the pics it looks like your std old 911 in good shape but I would have guessed the mileage to be double what the odo says. That would make me slightly nervous but things always look different in person and on the test drive though. Low mileage isn't always a good thing if you want a "driver".

In general looks like a decent car but....

Whats going on with that jacking point?

1) GET THE SILL COVERS OFF! and poke with screwdriver (when owner isnt looking- i.e. poke when they're not looking not take the covers off when they're not looking)

2) GET THE VALVE COVERS OFF AND CHECK THE HEADSTUDS - garage queen 1982 SC = broken headstud. My 1982 SC had the uncoated Dilavar studs which are more liable to breaking - even though they were supposed to change to coated ones in 1981)

Not doing the above could = £6K+

Whats the asking price?

Not sure about the mileage, it seems very low comparing to the condition of the car, which is not too bad by the way. I've seen worst, but personally, I would wait for a nicer one. SCs are common on the market, just wait for the good one.

And I'm not sure you will appreciate those Renault 5 seats !

I like the cloth interior! The car has obviously had some paint work in the past, but its not like its a color change or anything. It looks like a pretty standard car for northern European climate. If its cheap enough I like it. All the panel gaps look ok. For 30k miles, this car looks like it was driven hard. I'd want to see some service records with mileage on them to verify. What is the asking price?

A VERY good cover up with paint and detail. However to me it looks like rust is just waiting to break out. Also check ware on clutch and brake peddle No way 33k in my opinion. Just my 2c
