Sunday's Hudson Run - pics?

Okay, so we did it! About 9 Pelicans met up yesterday at Perkins Memorial Drive, Bear Mountain NY, to commence a convoy of Porsches up and around the Hudson River in Putnam and Duchess counties.

We had two 914's, two '85 Carreras, two 930's, a '73.5 911T, and a 944. One member drove an AMG tuned Mercedes in lieu of his disabled 914.

We encountered some good twisty roads, but a few too many non-Porsche brake lights stifled a more aggressive run. The weather held - no rain - a bit muggy by the end of the drive, but overall mid-80's F and cool enough to keep oil temps in the right place. Most of us ended up at the Horseman Diner in Nyack for some well-deserved grub and P-car tale swapping.

There were several digital cameras there, so I am anticipating pictures please... (hint). I had a great time, and look forward to seeing some of you guys again at PCA events and/or another run!

Argh, me too...I woke up too late, but drove till the meeting point anyway...and came back on 287. That was already quite a drive comming from Monmouth county. But next time I`ll set my alarm clock earlier and be part of the drive. Sounds like you had fun !

Nice pictures. One thing, though. Next time, set the final image size lower -- something like 640 pixels wide -- and your image editing program won't have to specify such an extreme degree of compression, and the final, displayed image will have less of the "pixellation" effect that detracts from the look of those gorgeous cars.
