SCCA auto-x Rantoul, IL
Hey there,
I'm thinking about going to the SCCA auto-x on July 27 or 28 w/ my 911. Last time I went, I was the only p-car and a lonely one at that (I'm a novice and there were WRX's and other "import" cars killing me). I want to go and want to see if any Pelicanheads would like to join me for a fun day. Last time I got 4 runs plus funruns and was on my way home by 2pm! It's at Rantoul Aviation Center, near Champaign, IL. Take Care and i'll see everyone at Tweeks on Saturday! Pete

Hey Pete - I'd like to go, but don't you have to be an SCCA member? Are the rules different that for PCA?

Hey Rarly,
I went with my friend Matt and all I had to do was pay a fee (10-20), get inspected (just like PCA), and put in a class. I'm not a member and don't plan on becoming one in the near future. It's fun to see some different cars run and meet other enthusiasts of auto's. Everyone was cool to me and it's run very orderly and quick.
