Hey all!
I have an 85 911.... I would like to know what size spanner wrench to buy for fan belt removal.. I support Pelican when ever possible but $36 + shipping for a spanner wrench seems a little steep!! Thanks In advance!!!

Mulley,
The fan belt wrench is not just a standard wrench, it's a special tool used to keep the fan belt pully from rotating whilst undoing the nut. It's quite expensive, but definitely the best way to do it without damaging anything! Cheers, Tim. ____________ 1983 SC Targa |

I'll bet an ordinary bottom-bracket wrench from any bike shop would work just fine. Haven't tried it, but it's the same question-mark shape...

Doesn't this tool come with the standard toolkit or was it a "gift" from the PO of my car? (I have it in mine)
