ordered tires today I think I did good
I have a 911SC and a 914 GT clone that both have 16 " tires/rims. I have two sets of 7/8 Fuchs and one set of BBS. I started looking online about a week ago and did the usual Tire Rack, Pep Boys, Discount Tire, Goodyear etc. and found some decent prices for 225/50 + 245/45 x 16. Then today looked locally and quite surprisingly Tires Plus had the best price for Bridgestone Potenza RE11's. Out the door with tires, mounting, balancing and tax for 225/50 + 245/45 x 16 = $795.08. They ordered them today and will be in the store in 2-3 days. I'm going to have these mounted on the BBS wheels, if all goes well I'll think about getting another set for one of the Fuchs sets. The last set of Fuchs I think will have some track tires mounted. Having fun in Marietta.

It's good to see the 245/45-16 size becoming available again. For a while that size was becoming really scarce in street tire selection.
