Clutch pedal distance

Should the clutch pedal be the same distance as the brake when at rest? There is a difference of about 3" in from the brake pedal.

They should be close to the same. My clutch pedal is slightly higher than the brake pedal but only by 1/4", if that.

Also mention that you can actually pull the pedal up 3"s , You need a cable adjustment, let me know and we can tackle it together. You will need 2 15MM wrenches and a digital caliper for measurement.

The brake pedal is adjustable so you either make them equal or you can set it at nice height for toe and heel braking, my preference.

This looks a little different than what's on Pelican's help file, but is this the clutch adjustment section?

What year Porsche do you have? It matters. On my 88 both pedals are at about the same level. On the 70 the clutch pedal is lower than the brake and the clutch free pedal is measured by pulling the pedal back. I would think that 3" difference is way too much.

This is a '76 Carrera 2.7. So, what do you think of the photo?

Thanks, Jim for the offer. I would like to try it on my own as this seems to be a no brainer. What do you think of the pic?
