Your daily driver

Not sure if it's been done before.

Here's mine! Keeping it in the Porsche/VW family. My first new car I bought 11 years ago and still going strong, '01 VR6 Jetta...

'86 carrera targa with 149,5xx miles -- snows in the winter and stickies in the summer take me 15 miles to work without problem but with plenty of fun. Whenever I think about getting a substitute DD I remember that with Porsche . . There IS NO SUBSTITUTE (where have I heard that before).

Wife drives a 04 touareg v8 -- so we keep it "in the family" too

I was afraid of that! Everyones daily driver is their Porsche. When you live in Canada, it's a different story.

50% daily driver is my '84 911

The other 50% is my '95 8-Series (has been my 100% daily driver for 5+ years 'til last year).

I had a 2010 Forester until about 2 weeks ago. I traded it in on a 2012 GTI, and I'm loving the GTI. Funnest daily driver I've ever had.

Daily Commute into DC...

Means sensible wheels for me- 2001 MB E430 4-Matic driven for years, but soon to be replaced! Thinking CL, so losing a couple of doors and gaining a few cc's! (I expect...) R/Dave L.

Mine is an 01 Audi Allroad now. Air suspension deleted, and APR stg 1 flash. Nothing like AWD with 380Tq and heated seats in the Pittsburgh winters.

Used to be a 93 URS4. But the mods got a little too out of hand...VEMS standalone and a big T04.

Had 282k miles and 400awhp when i finally gave it up.

I switch it up quite a bit. On cold or rainy days I drive an 01 Audi S4 with lots of mods, v6tt The amount of torque that car makes is staggering. Like a freight train at 2000rpm. On nice days I drive an 05 Mazdaspeed MX5. Basically a turbo Miata. Very fun, but could use some more power (which is in the mail and will be installed in a few weeks). We also have some Honda SUV that the better half drives. I'm embarrassed to have it in the driveway .
