Alternator wiring harness on '80 SC
Dear Pelicanites,
I would like to know how the wiring harness going to the alternator should look like on my '80 SC. As of now, there is a bunch of connectors that would allow the harness to be split where it enters the engine shroud (except the red 12V cable going to the starter which is spliced below the black tape).  Are the connectors original or were they added by a PO? Does anyone have a picture of how the harness should look like on an SC? Thanks, Manfred |

Looks like a total hack job by a PO.
If you want a brand new one I can make one for you. PM or email me for details, I just bumped my ad in the classifieds. You could have a new one to install in the next ten days. Dennis |
