I can feel a strong vibration thru the accelerator pedal when I get up into the higher rev.'s. anyone else ever experience this? what was the solution?

The most common reasons are problems with the pressure plate and disc, ignition misfires, fuel delivery issues, and recently installed, out-of-balance components.

Without a thorough history of your car, its difficult to tell you much beyond this.

BTW Looking thru TSBs I found one that says to loosen and retighten the bolts that attach the sheetmetal rear engine mount to the case, if it continues (customer complaints) flip the engine mount washers so the are away from ea other, i.e. )-( rather than (-).

The closest way to describe it would be like stepping on one those old gag hand buzzers it happens around 5000rpm

Does it smooth out above 5000 rpm? Could it be a little bit of a misfire? Maybe just one cylinder?
