Push on the switches by hand and make sure the lights go out. Also make sure the switches on the lights are in the right position to go out with the doors closed. Someone may have accidentally moved them. Check to make sure the door is contacting the switches when they close.

Yeap,..light switch first...then on to the door switches.

clean, clean, clean the switch contacts including wire spades. that helped me when I ran into this on my 87.

The lights are 3 positions. Center works with door switch. one side on all of the time, other side off all the time

The clear lens of the light actually "toggles" into 3 positions.
Reach up there in the headliner and try to move them....push in one end of the lens or the other. It's possible you've toggled the lens into the always on position.
