Fan and Pulley match/mismatch?

I have an original 914/6 case with a standard crank pulley running a 245mm fan inside a 930 106 102OR housing (this is from a 80-83 911 or 78-89 3.3 Turbo). The outer pully half is p/n 603-421-01-M260 (from a 69-73 911). Does this mix of parts create a problem with the innner and outer pulley surfaces ie..are they different in pitch? What belt should I be running 9.5x710 or 10x710... or 9.5x725 or 10x725? Wow..I hope someone can figure this one out.

This thread has I think all the info you need. And I think you should buy the
proper pulley half for your fan.

Question on Pully Size - for increasing cooling

fan and pulley

Ok I have a late model 245mm fan housing and and earlier mid seventies 245mm fan and pulley. Here is a pic. What belt is correct for this set up 9.5 or 10 x 710 or 725?

If you have the crank pulley from 914-6, then everything is early and 710 should be
the right length. I didn't get it before that your fan is old, the housing isn't
important.

I agree, you've got an old (60-73) fan and the right outer pulley half to match the fan.
The housing does not impact the equation.
