Frequency valve hose

Hello all,

Has anyone ever replaced the hose that comes off the frequency valve? I'm in the process of changing all the hoses around the engine and I'm curious if anyone has replaced that hose. I'm using gates barricade fuel injection hose so I don't have to worry about the new ethanol fuels from degrading them.

Also, do you guys suggest fuel injection hose clamps or oetiker clamps?

TIA

If the frequency valve hoses are cracked, brittle, or getting hard; then sure, replace them, and use the stock clamps.
On the 3 fuel lines we use OE style ferrules and swage them. You could probably use an Oetiker brand
ear clamp however you might want to test your crimp; crimp it, cut the clamp and inspect the inner bore of the hose to see if you over did it, and then pressure test your final assemblies; engine fires are expensive.
